3rd Years

My name is Edward, but most people call me Eddy. I was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, and later completed my undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo. Despite living in Buffalo, NY for four years, I'm still not a fan of the snow. I graduated from dental school at UConn in 2023 and completed my General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Connecticut in 2024. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy playing soccer, cooking, and being actively involved in my local church community. My wife and I are proud parents of a two-year-old son and are grateful to be part of the UConn Endo family. As I begin my final year in the program, I look forward to continuing to learn from our exceptional faculty and co-residents. I am especially excited to deepen the friendships, camaraderie, and professional relationships that make this program so special. Cheers!
My name is Jenni and I graduated from Appalachian State in Boone, NC in 2016 where I played soccer. In 2018 I started dental school at the Dental college of GA and then worked in Augusta as a general dentist. I was fortunate to be accepted into UConn endodontics and will be graduating June 2027. My husband and I have one daughter, and one on the way! We enjoy running, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, reading and just enjoying time together as a family.
My name is Michelle! I’ve spent the majority of my life in Georgia with an undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology followed by dental school at the Dental College of Georgia which I finished in 2024. As a recent graduate, I’m looking forward to growing under the practical guidance and mentorship of our Endo family including ways to deal with the snow (? – last time it snowed in Georgia, I was nine and it shut down the entire town). I’ve spent a fair amount of time in research throughout and have publications related to organic chemistry, dental materials, and endodontics. Being somewhat tri-lingual with Mandarin and Spanish as supplementary languages have aided greatly in practice. Outside of the profession, I like to find ways to stay active: hiking, rock climbing, golfing, and lifting. I welcome any additional suggestions!

2nd Years

I am currently a 2nd year resident at UConn Endodontics. I’m from Massachusetts and I went to UMass Amherst for undergrad to study microbiology. After I found out I was accepted to UConn for residency, I adopted two cats, Chef and Sous. Along with hanging out with my cats, I like to knit, sew, and really do any sort of craft. After residency, I plan to stay in New England, work in a more rural area, and hopefully have a small hobby farm (goats are a must!).
After graduating with a biology degree from Arizona State, I have had a circuitous path to endodontics. First, earning a Master’s in Education from Fordham and teaching 9th grade science in Brooklyn, I loved the mentorship and growth aspects of education. During that time, I found an interest in dentistry and after earning my DDS from UCSF in 2021, the Navy took us to San Diego and Japan where our family has enjoyed traveling, filling our passports and our stomachs! Now entering the 2nd year of residency at UCONN, I am eager to develop my skills and knowledge further while exploring opportunities for what the next chapter will bring. We are loving New England and its beauty that comes with it. I enjoy cycling, running and getting outdoors with my wife, 2 daughters and our dog Rider.
I am currently a second-year Endodontics Resident at UConn. I grew up in Cheshire, CT and graduated from Penn Dental in 2025. My main interests in endodontics include pain management, anatomical variations, and complex diagnoses. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy running, hiking, cooking, and trying new restaurants.

1st Years

I am originally from Oregon and began my professional journey after high school in the United States Navy, where I trained as an electrician aboard a nuclear submarine, operating and monitoring nuclear reactor systems while stationed in Guam. Following my service, I explored a variety of careers—from juvenile detention work to construction management—before ultimately finding my path into dentistry. Along the way, I pursued global experiences through study abroad programs in Chile and Ecuador, and earned both a Master of Public Health and a Master of Biomedical Science prior to completing my DDS at University of California, San Francisco. I then completed a one-year AEGD residency in Juneau, AK. Providing comprehensive care in a community-focused setting to rural areas of Southeastern Alaska. I am currently practicing at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Minneapolis, where I have spent the past several years serving a diverse patient population while refining my clinical skills and deepening my commitment to endodontics. Over multiple application cycles, I have remained dedicated to pursuing specialty training— teaching through the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and contributing to published research along the way. Outside of dentistry, I have taken on the challenge of learning to play hockey in an adult beginner league, an experience that has been both humbling and rewarding. I look forward to continuing to grow as a clinician and advancing my skills in both surgical and non-surgical endodontics during residency training
Growing up in Rochester, NY, I attended SUNY Geneseo before earning my DDS from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2024. Following dental school, I completed a one-year AEGD at the Buffalo VA in 2025 and am currently practicing as a general dentist in Rochester. Having spent most of my life in Western New York, I’ve also become quite proficient with a snow shovel. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy hiking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling whenever possible. Lately, I’ve been trying to work my way through the country’s national parks and look forward to discovering more of the Northeast in the years ahead. I’m engaged to a pediatric medical resident, and together we recently adopted a cat named Otis—an adjustment for two lifelong dog people. While I enjoy staying active, I used to run in high school but have gladly left those days behind. Dentistry runs in my family, and my brother is currently completing a dental anesthesiology residency. I look forward to the day we can work together to care for patients as a team.
I graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2026 and went directly into specialty training in endodontics. I am originally from Somerset, New Jersey, and have enjoyed calling Connecticut home throughout dental school and now residency. My interests within endodontics include regenerative endodontics and microsurgery, and I am interested in how these treatments can improve patient outcomes. I developed an interest in teaching and mentorship through my involvement in the ADEA fellowship program during my third year of dental school, and I hope to return to academia in some capacity later in my career. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy playing different instruments, reading, and recently started playing golf. Whether it's mastering a new piece of music, or trying to fix my golf swing, I enjoy activities that challenge me and keep me learning. I look forward to the opportunities and growth the next three years of residency will bring
I grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts and earned my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Psychology from University of Massachusetts Amherst before completing my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where I also served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Comprehensive Care. Following graduation, I served with the National Health Service Corps as a dental provider at Caring Health Center. Working in underserved communities strengthened my passion for relieving pain, preserving natural dentition, and expanding access to quality dental care. I am currently pursuing specialty training in endodontics at University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and look forward to continuing to develop both surgical and non-surgical endodontic skill sets over the next three years. My interests include endodontic microbiology, management of complex infections, and microsurgical endodontics. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy fitness, chess, pickleball, traveling, and spending time with family and my dogs, Pepper and Fifi.
